A significant step towards improving sanitation in Cilawang, Bandung has been taken with the construction of two new public toilets by Askara Nusantara. Built using recycled plastic, these facilities provide essential amenities such as showers and washing stations to the community, particularly to agricultural workers who have long faced challenges in accessing clean water and sanitation.
Moreover, the project has addressed the underlying issue of water scarcity by drilling the village's first well. This holistic approach ensures the sustainability of the sanitation facilities and benefits the entire community. The successful implementation of this project highlights the importance of community-led initiatives in addressing local challenges and promoting environmental sustainability.
