21,000 Trees Planted in Kertasari

Askara Nusantara is committed to restoring environmental functions, particularly in the areas of forestry and reforestation of currently open forest areas.

In the first semester of 2024, we provided assistance to the "Reksawana" Forest Farmers Group, a holder of Social Forestry management rights granted by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry, managing nearly 606 hectares of production forest area. Through this intervention, we also empowered 58 families involved in this group. We planted 20,000 coffee trees and 1,000 avocado trees among the timber trees in the managed forest area. The group is committed to maintaining these trees and their benefits will be managed collectively within the "Koperasi" system.
